You are certainly allowed to boycott it for the principle, that’s perfectly fine. But calling the game shit (Screenshot) just because it’s from harry potter and attacking the devs and it’s players was not warranted at all. I am obviously not implying you or OP did but many people did that and called it a boycott, that’s what I didn’t like. And a disclaimer, I am also not a harry potter fan, never tried the game myself and absolutely hate the author. Just felt bad for the game devs.

31·1 month agoI believe it is the same. Currently I have always on mullvad vpn and use their split tunneling to allow steam to run games without VPN. When you launch steam from their app’s split tunneling menu then every process created by it also bypasses the VPN. You can also add a program to their split tunneling list by running a command with pid so it sounds like it is same.

4·2 months agoI would recommend checking protondb once if something isn’t working. Simply using a different proton version or adding a launch parameter that others share can often work. I don’t understand half the stuff I copy paste but it does work well so worth spending a minute to check it.

It’s amazing how many people blindly put their faith in their tech stuff to never malfunction. It’s getting harder and harder to find single purpose things that isn’t stuffed with shitty smart features. Mf just let me buy a car that does not get bricked by a software update.
