  • When I was a kid, I was playing one day outside and then later I realized there is an ant nest nearby and I saw that I killed some ants by walking near it.
After that, I didn’t want to kill any more bugs etc, so whenever I was walking on grass, I would always check the grass before me to see if there are any bugs in it, and only then I would make a step.

Yeah, it was very slow and inefficient, but it wasn’t that bad because I was actively avoiding grass and this whole experiment didn’t last very long either, maybe a couple of months.

Then I went back to stepping on the bugs.

  • I am from Slovakia. This will be such an ammunition for the current fascist government. I can already see all the press conferences that pig will appear in. There was a quiet talk about leaving EU for a while. Then they made a law where slovak law is above EU law. And now this. My fear is that if there will be a referendum about leaving EU, more than 50% will be for it. I bought a house five years ago and I was slowly repairing it. I moved in just this year. If not for that, I would already be gone from this country.

  • I mean, I would rather watch nothing if my only other option was to watch the TV. A two hour movie is stretched into three hours and you can’t even pick what and when you want to watch.

I don’t miss the times when watching the TV was the only option in our household.

When I visit my parents they still watch the TV even when they have Wi-Fi, laptops and tablets. They still watch it and when I see all those ads I want to vomit.

I guess that tracks because Thanos is stupid as fuck.

Trying to solve the resource problem by killing half of the universe just doesn’t help. In a couple of decades, the population would be back to the previous number.

He could just snap his fingers and make those missing resources appear. Whole empty planets for people to live with abundance etc.

It feels like he thought of the problem for like one minute and decided to take the easiest short term solution possible.

Steam’s 30% is the last of their problems, I would like them to finally start actually moderating Steam forums. Because devs of the particular game usually don’t care. Visit some forums of newly released popular game and it’s full of bigots, misogyny, trolls and hate. It’s unbelievable.

    Go check oblivion remastered

    Movies: Letterboxd

    TV Shows: Serializd

For books, I too use Storygraph. But I might switch to Hardcover later. I have been using Storygraph for like 3 years and in that time nothing really changed, improved there in my opinion. Socialization is almost non-existent. They still don’t have “profile” pages for authors. If you click on an author, all of their books are just thrown in there together in one place. No filters, no picture of the author, nothing.

Hardcover looks interesting, it’s a bit like letterboxd, that’s why I like it. App is a little bit slow and I wish more people used it because there is not a lot of reviews and ratings for books. So if you want an alternative to goodreads, which has a lot of users, then storygraph is probably the only option.
