Oh? Almost as though capital = power and therefore should be capped.

Yes. It should also pay for rent and groceries for the workers it’s replacing.

To me it got real good whenever it wasn’t about the weird space zombies that somehow also are worker crews that build wormhole gates.
Never pre-order.

Baldur’s Gate.
I have questions.
Are there gonna be 3 levels now? (Real time battle, planetary overworld, space over-over world)?
Are the space marines gonna march in a phalanx formation?
Which space marine is gonna be the princess?

I just want 20 hours of that heavy metal ashtray labyrinth sequence.

But it’s been that way for almost a decade at this point and I no longer care to split hairs about it,
Haha, us old farts have been arguing about what constitutes an RPG at least since the days of the first Diablo.

So a successful crowdfunding campaign could make a game not indie anymore?
“Indie” means “independent”, which means there is no publisher or investor that could influence creative decisions in the service of profits. (As CDPR is publicly traded and does answer to investors, Cyberpunk would not qualify.)
If you want a low budget award, call it low budget award and define a threshold for said budget.

Sure they use force, but the force to me seems reasonable/in proportion.
You are out of your mind. Walk up to him and ask him to show his ID. If he doesn’t, grab his arm and take him with you. If he or the other people resist that, then and only then force can be escalated.

To be clear, you will not serve time in a cell for it, you’ll at most pay a fine.
Unless you insult a chancellor or the state senator of the interior of Hamburg, then the police will also illegally search your home and wreck it in the process to send a message.

Temporary arrest to take his ID (not even time in a cell). Not assault.

Ah. Der Besitz einer Glasflasche (in keiner Weise bedrohlich gehalten oder so) ist jetzt schon Grund für Polizeigewalt, ja?

All the context you need is there. The old guy poses no threat at all, the cop goes to him and brutally assaults him. An arrest because of the insults would be one thing, but this is clearly excessive.
Ikr? If they still complain about YouTube ads the suffering can’t be that bad or they would finally install a fucking ad blocker.

Uuuuh, that’s a wishlist.
in the event of like complete societal collapse or hyperinflation, they could use it for purchasing.
They are going to learn that you can’t eat gold. It has next to no purpose other than looking pretty, and that’s not going to matter much anymore in one of these events. It’s value is as speculative as any other.

I couldn’t even get Visions of Mana to run at decent FPS, not even on potato settings, and that’s really not AAA graphics material. Expedition 33, same thing. Everspace 2 runs ok, but with settings turned way down, and it really doesn’t look pretty anymore on my TV. I definitely cannot get anything visually comparable to, e.g., a God of War or Horizon to run at the performance my ps4 ran those.
There’s a lot of cool 2D games, it’s fine for those. I’ve stopped trying with the other things.
If you know some magic trick, enlighten me.

Huh. I don’t either but can read it just fine.
IT department says no.
