TBF some of us like road trips.

I’m a Floridian that spent the last 20 years living in Europe now that I’m back to the states I’m making up for my lack of road trips in the last couple of decades.

This winter I was making the trip from VA to SW Michigan ~10-12 hours one way twice a month, now that my parents are back in MI I do it once a month.

The only distros I’ve found that carry the broadcom drivers at install are the Ubunto families

Bazzite is based on Fedora so most/all Fedora stuff will work

I made it through college as a Mac user in the mid 90’s which had a lower market share than Linux does now. If I was a college now I’d probably get a reasonably powerful business notebook and run MacOS, and Windows in a VM so I wasn’t left wanting.

That makes sense…

The thing is it requires a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. My phone has a 128GB of storage my notebook has 2TB and has a keyboard, mouse, and display.

I really don’t doubt that there are people who have a use case I just wonder what it is, perhaps I’m just to used carrying my computer with me.
