What they’re saying best I can decipher is that seeing that bolt of lightning or that arc from a wire isn’t you setting the “electricity” itself. It’s you seeing something that it’s doing. Like the arc is a shadow puppet and “electricity” as they define it is the hand casting the shadow.
What they essentially want is for you to be able to take a picture of a lightning bolt and zoom in to see the individual electrons moving through the air. Fundamentally entirely misunderstanding how science says electricity works.

Shitty people don’t tend to genuinely question whether or not they’re shitty. You may be “involuntarily celibate,” but you’re not an “Incel” in the way most people online mean. Those people generally hate women and blame them for their loneliness. You not wanting to be the kind of person that drags others down to feel superior already makes you a much better person than that.
It absolutely can be if you let it get out of control. I still struggle with it in fact. It can cause emotional burnout, wreck your mental health, things like that. To be fair, even the “good” version of this gets weaponized to ignore causes that someone might not want to care about without “being a bad person” all the time. Think the “I have to prioritize my own mental health” types who only seem to have energy for issues that directly affect them. Again having limited emotional energy isn’t the issue, being disingenuous about it is.
But that’s not what this freak is talking about. What this freak is talking about amounts to “Empathy is reserved for the in-group. If it impedes our efforts or contradicts our dogma, then it’s toxic empathy,” basically.

I personally enabled it a long time ago because I didn’t want anything I didn’t directly hide in the store to be hidden from me. Changed my mind after being inundated by the sheer fucking number of them. It was like half my damn recommendations sometimes.

Realistically it’s not crazy to be at least a little bit upset with the sheer fucking number of them. I just wanted to make sure you and others knew that you can hide those smut games without hiding like everything with any NSFW content in it.
You can hide those porn games in your preferences at least. Not the same, but at least you don’t have to see them if you don’t want to. It even distinguishes between games that have nudity/sex and those that are flat out porn.
There’s a setting in your store preferences to hide those games. It distinguishes between “there’s sometimes nudity” and “porn game” even. 
As someone who due to dealing with chronic pain and having to pick my grooming battles often looks like the most neckbearded, “tips fedora” ass reddit mod MF that ever lived. I can imagine at least a little bit.
Like I’m not out here neglecting basic hygiene which is a step up from some of the people I’ve met. But shaving is definitely the first thing that gets dropped when my pain starts flaring up and then I start looking more and more like the kind of person that’s had a few too many “actually she’s a 3,000 year old vampire so it’s fine,” conversations.
