Despite the misconduct, all the people that worked hard should be proud to have created something that was not only truly unique but has also become part of the zeitgeist.

Despite having access to super modells he still choose you. The way he got along with your parents was almost like he always has been part of the family. Your mother starting to see his success and riches almosts as your own accomplishments. She even apologized for all the times of ridicule, not knowing that you were right all along in your choices that led you to him.

His rich colleagues all envied him for being with such a trustfull and down to earth woman like you, expressing their own wishes to get away from all the drama that came with relationships with models and actresses. Even his long childhood friends understood to bow to your relationships and that you have become the center piece of his life. And he knew it too.

Interesting read, but I think the conclusion is a bit of a stretch. That’s like saying “A car is pre-configured to roll down a hill, even before you put gas in it.”

More fitting would be to say that the absolute baseline of reactive brain activity is much more primitive than we thought.

True, but at that age people are usually mature enough to know what they want. And what they want surely isn’t an romantically inexperienced, socially inept, depressed loner. And if they do, that’s sort of a red flag in itself.

Roughly your age. All my life. Because I my family was poor and moved around alot so I never had the opportunity to develop passions or intrests and was always lagging behind everyone in life. Now that severe depression has manifested itself as constant part of my life, there is no chance for me to ever have a healthy fulfilling relationship without dragging the other person down with me. So I just stay at arms length with everybody.
Also at my age, if heaven’s forbid there is still somebody who’s also single without kids, then just like me, there’s a good (bad) reason for it.

At least I don’t end up as one of those 40 something year old steering head first into their 3rd divorce. I probably won’t even end up as a 40 something year old, period.

PS: I also thought I hated women, but in reality I hated myself - women were just a constant reminder of that. Realistically, I have so little interaction with women, that I have no real reason to have any opinion on them at all.

Have you ever had to much stuff lying around and you thought to yourself “I should really buy some shelves to stow everything away”? Then you get more shelves and after everything is in its place you’re left with some extra empty shelves. Now will those remain empty? No, they will be an invitation to get more stuff and fill that space up.

Same thing goes for rescources. Doubling the rescources doesn’t mean that life will suddenly thrive and everybody will live happily ever after. In a very short time life would also double and you’ll end up with the same problem but way more crowded.

And how does “doubling the rescources” even work? Snapping half the life away is easy, just turn them into dust. But does doubling the water mean rivers overflow, oceans rise? Hydrogen is a rescource, does every star goes supernova because it suddenly has twice the amout of mass?

Doubling the rescources doesn’t make any sense. In the Marvel universe there is probably at least one species that sees at least one element of the periodic table as a “rescource”. You’d essentially have to double the mass of the entire universe which most likely would result in a universal gravitational collapse.

Also what would the lesson be that life takes away from this? That each time life expands beyond its means somebody will come along and give you more rescources? Thanos wanted to teach life the opposite lesson. That living beyond your means will result in a culling instead of a reward. It was his way of solving greed, even if he could’ve used the stones to eradicate greed directly, he is called the “Mad Titan” for a reason.

Thanos is probably purple be because his armor is golden/yellow and purple/yellow are complimentary colors that look good together. Its probably a design choice to make his character more recognizable.

There’s a sort of pattern that all x-of-the-week series fall into, and it’s “Why do our characters have these wacky adventures so often?” and the answer to that is often “Because there’s a grand scheme to it all and they’re the chosen ones”. Same thing happened to Supernatural, or Primeval, I think even the Power Rangers.

There’s also this new trend of making a series which becomes very popular and then waiting 4 years to make the second season. By that time it not only lost it’s relevance, but also the actors have very visibly aged.

• Prolonged close-ups and shitty camera angels in general. Do I really need to see 47 seconds of a dick sliding in and out of a pussy in 1080p?
• Seeing how badly porn actresses have aged, it seems you either quit while you’re ahead, or move to Vegas get bolt on tits and lipfillers and gain 20 pounds, there seems to be no in between.
• Blood, I see even the tiniest speck of crimson red on the screen and I’m out.

I’d say everything else is just specific to taste. Something not being my kink doesn’t ruin a video for me, it just doesn’t interest me in the first place.

Man, you would love Dexter. Each sex scene is borderline hardcore porn, and there are a lot of sex scenes.

Arcane. But I’m pretty sure Arcane will be the best visual media I will ever see in my lifetime that nothing will ever really compare to, so it’s probably a good thing it concluded while at its peak.

Fringe was at it’s best during their earlier monster-of-the-week seasons but quickly strayed away from that to progress the overarching story, would’ve been nicer to have more seasons with a slower burning story development while still focusing on what made the show special.

Legion (FX Series) while excellent on it’s own, you could tell the productions creativity was far from exhausted and could’ve easily filled another wacky season.

Early 30s. I used to heal insanely fast, as in deep cuts or heavy bruises only lasting a week, 2 tops. Now I’d say it’s only 70% as fast but i get way more scaring. I used to cut or burn my hands on almost daily basis (I’m just dumb, no self-harm) and never had any scars from that. But now even tiny cuts leave permanent rough patches on the skin. They’re not really visible but you can feel them.

So, uhm… did she stand on a corner with a “Taylor Swift tickets here” sign or did she use Ticket Master to distribute her tickets? TM is literal cancer of the music industry. Billions my ass.

I know I had the full set saved once in high resolution, but now it vanished from the face of the web. Even on the photographers Website there’s only this one low res image. Reverse image search shows variations of the image, so there has to be a set of pictures, not only one.

That’s the side effect of a 2 party system. If they could split up into smaller parties, they could at least stand on their opinion.

Also, if any other country upsets it’s citizens you have a couple tens of thousand people riled up, millions max. If China does it, it’s going to be a quarter of humanity.
