Iirc it goes down your neck, makes a 180 around an artery at the height of the breasts and goes up your neck again.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Monitor Alignment Alignment Chart
3·2 years agoI have four screens from four different manufacturers, with three different sizes, three different resolutions, two different aspect ratios and two different refresh rates.
Two of these are resurrected from the dead of which one has a high voltage cold cathode driver externally plastered to it’s back (because the internal failed and there was no space inside) and the other one shining from every pore because I “replaced” one cold cathode tube by plastering the “replacement” tube somewhere in the housing of the monitor to fool the driver into thinking all tubes are fine (one was defect, the driver doesn’t work without every tube connected and putting the replacement in the place where it should belong is too much work).
I am basically the evil necromancer of chaotic evil.- 27 inch, 1440p, 16:9, 144Hz, Asus
- 24 inch, 1080p, 16:9, 60Hz (driver sticking out), BenQ
- 21 inch, 1080p, 16:9, 60Hz, Iiyama
- 21 inch, 1680x1050p, 16:10, 60Hz, Eizo
I can provide pictures later today if someone’s interested.
Edit: Here are the pictures

Android@lemdro.id•Fairphone 5: Everything about the "fair" smartphone in advance - price, details, picturesEnglish
5·2 years agoI am currently typing this on my Fairphone 4. I personally do really like it and the only thing I would really complain about is the cameras. They are fine but as soon as you get into low(ish) light settings or try to zoom just a little bit it get’s bad. When using 8x digital zoom you basically have pixel soup. And yes, I know digital zoom sucks. But at the same time my Galaxy S7 was older and did this soo much better.
I was also annoyed about the missing headphone jack but it turns out that it really isn’t a huge problem for me. I mostly need it in my car and I just have a dongle that splits into USB-C (for charging) and 3.5mm jack that I store in my car. I don’t really get why Fairphone decided against it but it really doesnt affect me as much as I feared it would.

Technology@beehaw.org•WTF? This computer's CPU fan is powered on by only a HDMI monitor
5·3 years agoMost HDMI switches (even the ones with remotes) don’t need external power so I always assumed that there must be some power spec.

I guess there are multiple factors. I think the biggest one is just the personality of the person. But starting taking hormones is basically a second puberty for the body. Most trans folks do not become as irretable as a person in their puberty but if one has a predisposition to it, a transition may trigger that a bit.
