The sheer lack of ability to read tone on Lemmy baffles me, and any time someone tries to bring it up you get these “that hasn’t happened to me” and “maybe you’re an ass” ahh comments. It really snubs any effort to talk about the problem.

Can places still keep them for pest control? What’s wrong with an outdoor cat?
EDIT: It’s so weird getting downvoted for a genuine question. See y’all in the next thread about why isn’t Lemmy more popular.

That’s actually two separate lines of male pattern baldness and two separate lines of printer proficiency alternating between each other.
The responsibility of knowing how to use a printer skips a generation, much like male pattern baldness.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do I explain my reluctance to use generative AI in good faith?

Funny because that’s exactly the games I’m thinking of.
Granted I was trying to play the game on hard mode so that didn’t help, but the system felt awful to me. There’s a band of goblins, let me see if I have any weapons bad enough to be worth spending on them.
Weapon durability
Those companies also make handbags, which are substantially more profitable than pants with pockets as long as those companies keep handbags in fashion

Got three tomato frogs. Funny little things, with a lot more personality than I expected.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People who watched the show "The Big Bang Theory", what is your opinion on it?
21·4 months agoMy brother, my dad and I watched it together some 10+ years ago. I think people get too angry about it. Most sitcoms aren’t really funny, BBT isn’t unique. “Oh it has too much of a laugh track” they all do. I also think this idea that the show makes fun of nerd culture gets taken a little too far as well, for the same reason. The characters are sitcom characters. Name any sitcom and there will be dozens of youtube videos about how the characters are horrible to each other and don’t make good decisions. If they were decent, rational people then there wouldn’t be as much drama, so no show.

1·5 months agoFair enough then, I’ve just checked the recommended wattage. My PSU is 650W and that’s exactly what the GPU recommends.

1·5 months agoHonestly I haven’t even heard of a nouveau driver. I sure haven’t blacklisted it.
To be clear I got this output with my old GPU. Not sure how I would get to the command terminal with the new one.
