Nothing you can’t do with bookmarks, but it’s a much nicer interface.

+1 for Soulseek. Torrents for music tend to be very hit and miss.
I’m happy enough with my current (non-oss) watch that I’m not going to change until it becomes unusable, but if I had to make the decision today, I’d probably have a go at installing Asteroid OS on a secondhand device.

Bielefeld conspiracy. The city of Bielefeld in Germany does not exist. Everyone claiming to live there is a paid actor. Anyone who says they’ve visited is either in on it or has been decieved.

Agent Mode can click around as if it were a human user, with full access to that user’s authentication and browsing history
Yeah, that should be fine.

…
I had no idea gPodder could do that. I’d never tried it, just assumed it was mostly for playing and syncing with the web service.
Thanks!

Actually that’s something I hadn’t considered. I do have a Jellyfin / *arr setup, there might be something in that ecosystem that does at least part of what I want.

Social skills are like any other skill; they can be learned. I’d suggest volunteering. It’s usually okay if you’re a bit weird and awkward so long as you’re contributing. I’ve done a fair bit of volunteer work and been on both sides of that. Plus it gives you a common goal and instant common ground with people; there’s at least one thing you all care enough about to do it for free.

I guarantee you they’ll still collect marketing data, they just won’t show the resulting targeted ads until you let your subscription lapse.

No, the point of the entire site is to generate revenue. They’ve been pushing subscription based AI to “help” with profile writing for a while. GenAI content is also supposed to be good for juicing engagement numbers to show to advertisers.
I agree with you that it probably won’t work and the whole thing will degenerate into shrimp Jesus and bots replying to bots, but that’s the line of thinking. They don’t give a fuck about the quality of the service.

I miss 2000’s era Nokia. They had their flagship phones that turned a profit but also just did some truly weird shit purely to see if it caught on.
Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

I recently dug up my vita and installed CFW out of boredom. With the built-in PSP and PSX emulation, decent retroarch support and a fair few source ports, it’s quite a respectable retro handheld these days. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend sourcing one over say, an anbernic unit, but if you already have it, it’s a fairly easy jailbreak and worth the effort IMO.

If you use any diet tracking app, they’ll have that data. Any supermarket loyalty program can infer a good amount. Some can be inferred from location data (eg amount of time spent at a restaurant). Menulog, ubereats etc will track it as a matter of course. that’s just off the top of my head.
EDIT: I misread the question.
If you go up a level from the obvious interaction of marketing on food choices, there’s still a hell of a lot of corporate influence on the food environment. Your job, your rent and utilities determine your food budget, which limits your choices. Your job and commute also determines the amount of free time you have to cook. Your commute is controlled in part by car and fossil fuel industry. If you don’t drive, you’re limited to what you can reach and carry via public transport or bicycle infrastructure (both also gutted by car lobby). Supermarket corps determine where the stores are, what they stock, and how much it is. So you’ll find your choices limited by travel time, availabilit, and budget again. You can go up another level again and manufacturers and producers will have influence over (for example) the FDA, which determines safety standards of what you eat. So even if you consider yourself unpropagandised, corporations still control pretty much the entire food system and what you eat. Unless you’re living off-grid and growing everything yourself, pretty much every food decision you make is touched by a corporation. Even then, you’ll have to buy your seeds from somewhere.
Silent these days. For a while I used the “black headcrab nearby” sound from HL2 as a text tone tho. Was fun watching people’s reactions to it.

Unreal Tournament
Terminal Velocity

I’m glad they kept the detachable controllers. Makes it much nicer to get actual work done on it without looking like a freak. I just hope they release an official keyboard dock for this one.

Pixels are pretty easy to get custom ROMs on. I’m sure you can find something that doesn’t include this.
Sort of? Never used OneTab but it looks like a single list. Tabs aside breaks up tab sets into sessions / windows.
