In those figures, do they count standalone VR headsets as consoles? Cuz they basically are. May not be the same shape, but they do the same thing. And would fill the same role in christmas shopping regards. With the Quest 3s going down to 200 USD for black friday, I have to imagine there were some units sold there.

The chat bot just assumes it’s in the context of active war. Not that there isn’t even a war. There are no active combatants or “effectively surrendering” combatants. There is just people accused of a crime they may, or may not, be guilty of… and missiles.

Even if it was in the context of a war it would be a crime, but there isn’t even that context. It’s murder, arguably worse than war crime, it’s crime, and one of the worst crimes there is.

What does it say about stealing boats? Again without the context of being in a war…

Yeah, my sister was pretty reluctant at first, she is ACE and wanted to support the boycott, but then when the game was basically a slap in the face to rowling, and rowling was trying to tank the game by tweeting that buying the game still supported her anyway, we took that as meaning that she actually wasn’t making residuals on it or she would have just shut her mouth and raked in the money like normal.

I played the game in VR myself, but my sister played it flat screen. We both enjoyed the game. It is definitely very “videogamey” but, been playing videogames for over 30 years, so that is nothing new. The parts that were new to us were worth the parts that weren’t.

Ah, I should probably mention that I played it in VR with motion controls, so combat was alot more fun than what the flat version of the game probably did. And just riding a broom or looking around at the really detailed environments(those that were) was worth it being very videogamey otherwise.

But hogwarts legacy is actually a really good game, the whole problem was that it might lead to jk rowling getting more money. Though they never did clarify if she got a cut or a flat fee that would have already been paid. Either way, this should nullify that, but the team that made the game did a great job, and made it more in-line with the spirit of the books instead of the author. Went specifically against her current wishes. The trans inclusion and positivity was pretty well done. Even if it was put in to spite her, they didn’t draw attention to it, it just is there, and no one bats an eye.

Edit: I should mention that I played it in VR, I can’t speak to what the game is like without VR. But I really enjoyed it. UEVR with a motion controls mod, there is also a voice casting mod, but I didn’t personally go that route.

Yeah, it’s a pretty awesome game. Basically a bunch of voice actors tried to figure out a way to make a game that included over 100 all main cast voice actors. Pretty much every voice actor you can think of is in it, and has a large role.

I don’t see anything to suggest AI was used in the making of the game, but I also don’t see anything that suggests it was going to be a good game. So it may not have taken much pressure to get them to fold.

If they would have focussed on making a good place first, and then corrupting it with commercialism, they could have at least boiled a few of us frogs. But you can’t start with the commercialism foot forward and the quality foot behind and expect to make a place worth visiting.

My mom was disgnosed with fibromyalgia at a time when most doctors either hadn’t heard of it, or dismissed it as not being a real thing still. She’s had a pretty long road of it. Luckily she had a good doctor at the time, I couldn’t imagine how much worse it would be if any of those other doctors had been hers at the time.

It already sucked enough when she was referred to specialists or had to go in for other tangentially related stuff where it was important for them to know she had fibro. Her doctor would catch flak from them for writing it down as her official diagnosis. So glad her doctor was able to handle that and persevere. As great as it probably feels to eventually be proven right, it certainly couldn’t have felt great getting there.

Hehe, yeah. In the oldendays there was newspaper as an option for drying glass streak-free. It was never the best choice luckily, but it used to be prevalent. A squeegee was the old better solution, and a microfiber cloth is the new better solution.

Hehe, I just meant the collecting and redistributing knowledge part. Though yes, it also doesn’t qualify as knowledge, just a string of words that seems like it fits the occasion. Though… not to sell myself short, but not super far off.

Hehe yeah, I know it’s slowly losing functionality… but I think I’m gonna ride this horse until just before it goes over a cliff. I just really like the presentation I’ve dialed in. I tried all the other apps and can’t get anything that feels like me.

When I first came here, I grabbed every app, and put a few hours into each, and it was no contest. Sync hands down had the best UI configuration for me. There were multiple sticking points on each other app that were just deal breakers.

I have tried them all again recently, and still didn’t find anything else I liked.

I haven’t looked into why sync doesn’t get updates anymore, hoping it’s not guaranteed permanent… afraid to look.

If you are catching spray, try to increase the follow distance between you and the vehicle ahead. Same deal for rocks in places where that is a concern. It can be hard to leave a big gap, for fear that someone will come into that gap, but you can’t fix everyone, you can only fix you.

But, we also do have wipers for anything that happens during the current drive, not as good as not getting dirty in the first place, but better than staying dirty.

It was general advice for the situation, not specific to the image. There are many things that can cause it to be much more difficult to see when driving towards a low sun than it actually needs to be. It’s not a great situation at it’s best, but it shouldn’t be fully debilitating.
