Thanks! I discovered you don’t need to build a transformer to be openai compatible. This operates more as a slot machine so I didn’t waste energy training a model to be a duck and its more lightweight. There’s 70ish possible responses with varying rarities and just a simple rule not to repeat the same one twice. If you use the website or API there is a slight chance your “data” will be captured by your ISP or HF, but it’s open source and super lightweight so you can run it locally. If you are super security minded you might notice there are 3 things obfuscated in the source code. They are just fun Easter eggs obfuscated like a spoiler tag, but it’s just base64 so you can easily audit to verify my claim that it’s humor not vulnerability.

I put the cat tree next to my front door so my kitty could affection attack my head and shoulders instead of tripping me when I got home from work.

Games@lemmy.world•Sliced off the tip of my thumb, what are some good one handed games?English
17·2 days agoJust about anything that is turn based. Board games ports, Roguelike games like Balatro, Slay the Spire, 9 Kings. Civilization games and Civ-likes. You can even play ttrpg ports like Baldur’s Gate and Divinity but it might be a little annoying without an RPG mouse. I played a lot of Civ when my left arm was paralyzed then weirdly Wii tennis after surgery.

If you are in a social situation with conversations going on its really easy to get away with this kind of shit. Espicially if the others are inebriated.
I was the designated driver with my friends and 2 of them had the same phone. Without them noticing I swapped their phones, cases, and passwords. They didn’t notice until they sobered up the next morning. It was hilarious.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are your thoughs about YouTube clickbait?
6·18 days agoI watch a ton of youtube. Mostly longform content 20 minutes or longer.
Clickbait has such a wide definition that I feel like setting clear definition would be important for your work.
We live in an attention economy where there is way more content for us to consume then we ever could so the point of descion is crucial and thumbnail and title do a lot of heavy lifting. I only dislike it and think it is a problem when it lies, or the video itself is lacking in substance.
In I a lot of gaming videos the thumbnail and or title is something along the lines of “How hard is it to beat X?” And they don’t answer the question directly, but more they play through it and you answer for yourself by watching them. Some point count this as clickbait, but I’m personally ok with it.

They are mostly used interchangeably. Maize is the older term for corn, and in the US South at least when someone says maize you might get a smaller multicolor cob rather then a yellow one. Reds, blues, purple, all sorts of colors (naturally). It’s only yellow and large from years of selected breeding.
