Finished up Cytonic and started Defiant by Brandon Sanderson. Tried to pace myself with this series but… the days are dark and cold so there are too many opportunities to read.

Blasted through Skyward and will probably finish Starsight tonight, enjoying it way too much. My first reading of any Sanderson and will probably check out Mistborn after this series. Trying to catch up on all the good quality SF/F released in the past decade or so!
We have a Kobo Clara and a Pocketbook Touch Lux 5 in our house. Neither are color so I can’t speak to that, but both are usable offline with wired file transfer support, which was our main requirement. And decent privacy. Though I can’t speak to Boox, I will be considering another Kobo if the Pocketbook ever dies.
What do you want?
compiz and emerald, wow I was not expecting to unlock that memory tonight!

Have you considered hosting your own private invidious instance? Should be a lot more reliable and stable than a random public instance.

I can’t speak too much to public instances, but I’ve self hosted invidious for several months now just for use in my own house. My understanding is if you make your instance public, anyone who knows your IP or URL could use it and your bandwidth.
I recommend the docker install, it’s easy to map data paths and ports as needed.
Had my eye on this. What are your thoughts so far?
