Are you able to move the cursor with the joystick outside Steam or games?
It may be ‘norman behaviour’ now, but a couple of years ago it worked actually great. I was able to control the full desktop OS with right joystick + R2/L2 for mouse move + clicks respectively, all while Steam was minimized in the background.
I tried both via USB and bluetooth. About the native joystick calibration I don’t know what that means.
Is anybody able to move the desktop cursor with the joystick outside Steam or games?

2·1 month agoWell, in that regard lemmy is no different from other social media. Population is so polarized by media bombardment to the point that ideology overrides any sense of violence restrain.
Every day I understand better why americans need the right to own firearms. Soon we europeans will need it too.

Those are not poor people, but still Porsche is one of the most affordable luxury car brands. I just can’t picture a russian oligarch with just a porsche.
Next will shut BMW, then Volkswagen and we will still be laughing about it.

Translation to english: ‘we are aware big players are arming the genocide, but we condemn the nothing for it.’
…and at least one of them is not even a woman yet.

2·3 months agoI think it streams youtube music. You can download tracks and make playlists. Also has live lyrics for most of the tracks.
I recommend using it now. Next year google is gonna kill all apps outside play store.

Newest Ubuntu didn’t allow me to install/use ds4drv 😑 so I can’t tell if that’s the problem or the Steam controller settings, which I tried on dozens of different configurations.
