Slartibartfast is going hard on this one
This is great! I took a look through your other posts and I love your style, it feels very alive. It’s reassuring these days to warm ourselves with the flame of human creativity. Thank you for sharing!

These are incredible, thank you for sharing!
I’ve used metacritic for years, it’s much better in my opinion
Halfing bard here. Turns out my version of high fantasy is being a silly little guy with a flute and a garden

I use emacs with evil, best of both worlds

I loved Timberborn, great game with a fun twist compared to the rest of the genre. I’d also recommend Bannerlords and Foundation, I had a blast with both of those as well.
The forest was there long before the road

I miss vent, it was so clean

Was that the one with the wrestling ring minigame? That game was so fun
I’m sure that’s probably true for many people, but also some people just don’t vibe with seltzers. I quit drinking everything but water and black coffee a few years back due to kidney stones and I still can’t stand lightly flavored seltzers.

Totally agree. Saying that “any criticism of the Chinese government is sinophobic” is the same as saying that “any criticism of Israel’s government is antisemitic.”

Loved this game and the second one
He polled 7 points better against Trump than Hillary did in 2016. Although that being said, it seems pretty well accepted that the polling was pretty unreliable in 2016.
It’s how we did it for $10 in 2012 as well
My favorite is when he got caught masturbating in public and responded with “If only it were as easy to banish hunger by rubbing the belly.” Or when Plato was teaching a class and defined a man as a featherless biped, and Diogenes brought a plucked chicken to the class and said “Behold, Plato’s man!”

I imagine they thought it might sound better coming from a person of Jewish faith rather than from an 81 year devout catholic.
Second season comes out in July! I’m hyped, I loved the comic
I couldn’t agree more. Dude writes a book about how the greatest human achievement is empathy and how it can redeem us for the evils we commit in ignorance, and then says that all queer people secretly wish they were “normal”. Just a reminder we all need to examine ourselves for bias I guess.
