Well, Musk’s companies sure seem to be buying quite a few, so I’m sure that’s helping him too.

They refuse to make another like it!
Unfortunately, thank CAFE regulations. It’s basically impossible to make a tall boxy car in the US that meet the regulations, because fuel efficiency targets are based almost purely on how long and wide the car is. It’s way easier to make a car bigger than it is to make it more fuel efficient, so unfortunately that’s what manufactures have to target.
While I’m all for efficiency regulations, CAFE is so unbelievably stupid that it desperately needs to be reworked.

Idk, the one from Playboy back in the 80s was pretty phenomenal.

I just upgraded to a foldable phone and it’s a game changer to have an 8in screen in your pocket. Reading long form content is so much more enjoyable, and I’d love to have an E-ink reader that folds like my phone does.

He’s already done this before too. See the Boring company purchasing a bunch of cars too
It’s worse because the rocks thing was literally from a fucking The Onion article. Adding glue to pizza to get the cheese to stick was the Reddit post

Having a theater subscription has definitely made going to movies far more enjoyable tbh and one of the only subscription type services I have anymore. It’s way easier for me to just pick a random afternoon, drag a friend along and take more chances on a movie when, as you said, I’m not “paying” for that ticket.

Also them removing radar, which while having its own flaws (as does LIDAR), is a great compliment to cameras and is the industry standard for a reason.
Pretty much. I had really good horse meat sashimi in Japan and it tasted pretty much identical to elk or deer. It was tasty, but not something I’d feel like going out of my way for.
Oh, I absolutely did. He got pretty fed up and left me alone pretty quickly when he realized I wasn’t going to jerk him off over his basic-bitch G80.
It’s so real, especially early in transition. I remember chatting with a coworker via Teams about cars, and he was being really weird about trying to flex his car, getting really upset I wasn’t fawning over it, and being extremely dismissive of basically every opinion I had. I kept thinking to myself “wtf is this guy’s problem?” because I had literally never interacted with a person so condescending when talking to me about cars.
Mind you, I’m an automotive engineer, working for an automotive company, who has been racing since before I got my license. I would say I’m decently knowledgeable about cars.
It wasn’t until he said “There goes silly hovercat with her silly opinions again” that I realized “Oh shit, he’s talking to me like that because I’m a woman”. It was incredibly affirming, but definitely some mixed feelings about the whole thing.

This is something that hit me like a ton of bricks after living abroad for a bit. It definitely made me think a lot about how much more pleasant things are when people are at least marginally considerate of others, and just how little some people seem to do it in the US.

Just don’t acknowledge Alberta and it’s all good

I’m going to guess that you probably aren’t part of one of the many groups he actively advocated for violence and hatred against.
I don’t celebrate his death, but that a man actively advocating for violence and hate against so many has been silenced.
This is why if you want to start shit, you ride a motorcycle. Never get in a fight with someone wearing a motorcycle helmet.
Unironically, this was exactly how the announcement at my old company went. Literally, someone getting paid millions of dollars a year basically saying “Yeah we made this decision on vibes alone”

Sony has OLED TVs now, likely using the exact same panels in the equivalent LG TV. One huge plus of Sony TVs is they run Android and so installing custom patched apps is pretty easy.
