Yeah, same. I used a 19" CRT from 1999 to 2009, and just now I almost thought “ah, those were the d…” NO!
The ONLY think I liked about CRTs were that they were durable because of the thick glass, and they didn’t fall over as easily as flat screens. Other than that they were objectively worse in any single way.

I read somewhere that Russian rail traffic is down 10% this month. I wonder if this is why.
I made it because I found the filesize limitation of catbox to be too small, and I want to host other stuff than pictures and videos too.
It requires a login to upload stuff, as I don’t want to deal with the headache of accepting anonymous uploads, and I might make it into something “proper” one day.

I’m using an old RC helicopter radio I bought eons ago to control a raspberry pi, so I’m reverse engineering the signal on the receiver side (which was surprisingly easy), and I got curious about the company in general.
I used 3dsmax a lot around 25ish years ago, and even though I pirated it, I remember it costing a fortune.
After getting back into 3D printing I needed something with which to do modelling, and as I’m exclusively on Linux I decided to dive into Blender.
My conclusion is that blender today is better than 3dsmax way back. I just need to translate allof my learned 3dsmax terms and techniques into blender.
