Remote access is the one pain point. There is very little for RMM or remote software that works on wayland. KDE has that in the works already.

Everybody says Rustdesk but it is a bad joke regardless of wayland.

Personally I host a simplehelp server(paid) and it’s really good but wayland support is a no go so far.

Everything else has been categorically better and fixed a lot of issues for me that I used to have on X11 which I’ve used for like 15 years.

X11+Gnome until gnome 3 then KDE for me because I’m not using a damn tablet (or workspaces).

I hope its a direct response to Borderlands 3, the story and main characters in 3 were fucking awful. Removing the cuscenes from the game straight up made it better. I swear it’s half the reason people are mad at Synology. There is no way to buy a “Synology” drive without the chance of getting a Toshiba drive, just return and reorder until you get decent drives.

I can fully encrypt my PC/BIOS password/secureboot if I have Linux on it. If I relock my bootloader with Android then I’m completely fucked if anything goes sideways. If I leave it open the phone gives a fucking warning on boot that the phone is unlocked and may be insecure and that warning can’t be disabled or locked. (Pixels)

Interesting. I switched to jellyfin from Plex because the Plex interface was fucking terrible after the redesigned it and jellyfin was so much better even when unfinished.
