I only have a Quest 2 and I still love it. I think we won’t see mass adoption until it’s slimmed down to just glasses.

2·2 years agoThat’s not on you. I would communicate with management and illustrate that you can’t do your job without a proper computer. If they refuse to help, get it in writing. You should not be held accountable.

1·2 years agoWhat do you mean it’s not worth it? If you use the company’s computer it’s on them to handle all the liability. If you use your own computer then you’re now on the hook. It is 100% worth it to use the company-provided computer.

An alternative solve is to get a handheld shower head so you can point it away from you while it heats up.

22·2 years agoSamsung phones have the capability to do this. There’s a setting you can set to only charge to 80%. It looks like they mention that in the article.
Android phones in general have something called Adaptive Charging that attunes to when you normally need a full charge. For instance if you are charging at night while you’re sleeping it will charge slower than it would during the day to improve battery health.

I’ve had a LR3 for about 8 years. It was $500 back then too. Still works really well. Sometimes I have to replace parts, but the maintenance is fairly simple and Whisker has YouTube videos for how to do everything. Still highly recommended. Worth every penny.
