Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is the craziest thing that's ever happened in your life?
0·3 years agoYou cannot choke when you are still connected with umbilical cord. You don’t have to breathe. EDIT: Ignore this comment, I was wrong. In my defense I have to say that this is what my biology teacher teached us, that babies cannot choke with their umbilical cord. But she is also antivax, so I shouldn’t have believed her.
The problem with Edge is the tracking. Their recent scandal proved that you can’t trust anything from Microsoft once again. Also Vivaldi and Brave are more feature rich, FOSS (except Vivaldi’s UI) and overall better in my opinion.
How do I comment r/comedyhomicide on Lemmy? Is there any alternative?

Android@lemmy.world•What Android games do you play to kill time?English
3·3 years ago- Monument Valley 2 [paid] - amazing for relaxing
- Standoff 2 - just a shooter game that doesn’t force all of the cases and levels and upgrading. It has those features, but I just open the game and start the match.
- Falling Lightblocks - best Tetris clone.
- Antimine - Minesweeper with ton of themes and settings. It’s FOSS but the Google Play version has ads, download from F-Droid.
- Flowit (F-Droid ,GPlay) - simple FOSS game that melts my brain after first few levels.
- Despotism 3k [paid] - great game. It’s pretty hard. Very funny too.
- Mindustry (F-Droid, GPlay) - My brain is too small to understand this game. But it’s fun.

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Warez: Do you pirate software or just use FOSS?English
22·3 years agoExcept for games I use FOSS on my Linux desktop and on my Android phone. The FOSS alternative is often better than the proprietary software.

Wasn’t I don’t care about cookies acquired by Avast or something? I don’t exactly remember why, but in response to something like that, community edition I still don’t care about cookies was created and I’m using it since then.
Are you using it just for the screenshot, or really daily driving it? And if the latter, how is your experience with it? I can’t imagine using browser with now tabs, so that’s why I’m asking. Anyway, beautiful rice!
