There are sooooo many neurodivergent service members.

You know how TV shows all look like soap operas nowadays? It’s because of goddamn motion smoothing and it is on by default on most TVs.
People who can’t tell are monsters. Blind monsters.
This post is for those of us willing to put in the work to turn it off and restore balance to the universe.

Poor Colorado fed to the wolves
Works for Master’s too. Until they show up and say “what if we did…” and expand your scope again.
That’s so funny because I have to give a nebulizer to my grandma sometimes and we both hate the sound 🤣. It’s so loud!
No judgment, I just didn’t realize people found it soothing.
Yep. Sounds about right! Sucks, I’m sorry.
Not OP but I was diagnosed by being sent to a sleep specialist. I complained of fatigue to my PCP so they checked me for sleep apnea and during the initial meeting I described my schedule and what is typical for me. At the end of the questioning I said “yeah, I’ve suspected I have a sleep disorder or something” and she said “you definitely have delayed sleep phase disorder” and BOOM it was in my chart.
Easiest diagnosis ever. It helps if you keep a sleep log for a little bit. I can’t guarantee the ease of your diagnosis but mine was just being honest instead of lying and pretending to have a normal day walker schedule.
Me too!
Question: does your schedule slowly morph and change over time or does it stay consistent?
Because I think I have non-24 on top of it and I was wondering if it was part of the normal symptoms or not.
Wait for real?
Yep. Numbing the thoughts away with constant input helps the body gain the upper hand and let me go to sleep.

I made a geologic map of this one area.
Mummies also animate because of a curse, whereas zombies have a whole host of possible mechanisms of animation.

Congratulations! I’m so impressed by your work and meme ethic!

I had surgery today and couldn’t pick up my meds at the pharmacy because my insurance uses AWS somewhere in the billing process. We had to pay out of pocket and pray we get reimbursed because they’re expensive. This took 6 phone calls to find out and overall, sucked. I didn’t think AWS going down could affect my damn insurance.

Kinda.
Mostly no but high school bullshit pops up every now and then. Just lame drama. It’s usually one person who is known to “be that way” and starts petty conflicts, or is overly controlling and not collaborative, takes everything as a personal attack on their authority, spreads gossip, whatever. It feels like high school when all I want to do is do the work and go home.
I’ve had at least one at every workplace I’ve ever had. In wildly different industries.
The strategy of ignoring them like you would in high school doesn’t work because you have to work with this person so it’s about creating paper trails, CYA files, minimizing interactions, and otherwise just dealing with frustration.

This functions and looks like a very well designed weather app but it just doesn’t have the widget I’m looking for. Good recommendation though, I’ll keep it installed to see if they update widgets.
Read the whole thing. That was wild. I think, alone, Weatherby (said together) isn’t the worst name I’ve ever heard but all the rest is cuckoo banana pants. Based on what came out of the court proceedings that woman had some PROBLEMS.
I should have realized it when I was experimenting with friends but I had my first real inkling at 13. Tried opening up to someone who said “ew” which scared me into full denial for a good long time.
