The ONN devices from Walmart work near-flawless, even the $14 stick. I would recommend starting there.

Any Android TV OS > Roku. Dumb TV > Roku. Outside > Roku.
Had to use Rufus to even install it on a ThinkPad which works perfectly. Drivers and all.
Maybe they should stop trying to be like Apple. You can’t limit upgrades then complain about no one upgrading.

Sent you a message regarding one of these apps.

What @Bongles@lemmy.zip said. Like there are many Android phones, so are TV devices. The ONN Walmart boxes are probably the best in value and performance. I just added that picture for the post haha.
No, the total cost. They’re locked to that carrier for 6 months. Specifically it was Straight Talk which is a prepaid for Verizon. Works fairly well where I am, I pay like $90/mo for 2 lines unlimited everything.
Look at prepaid phone carriers. Most offer updated iPhones for very cheap. I ended getting 2 for like $300 (150/each). As far as Android goes, look at the Samsung A models. Motorola used to be good but they suck now.
