      Direct war with Russia would be far worse for the German population. It is much cheaper to fight a proxy war via Ukraine and try to avoid war themselves.

      Also, they are ramping up their own defense capabilities so a lot of this money will presumably flow back to German companies, and therefore German jobs.

          Because if Russia wins, it won’t stop.

          You can’t reason with them, and nobody wants them to get access to more land and materiel.

              Even if he dies, there are others to replace him.

                It is absolutely true that germany will never be attacked by Russian and yes Russia occupying any country is definitely bad
