The past couple of weeks I’ve noticed a lot of sites redirect to report.error-report.com if you have an ad blocker. Reader mode is broken, too. The sites constantly reload when in reader mode. Is this a new anti-ad-blocker technique that my ad blocker just hasn’t caught up with, yet?
Seems like it, though I find if I persist with reader mode long enough it eventually works.

They are basically an anti ad block.
DNS Based blockers can’t get pass it. Browser based ones can.
Basically, they have a few domains like error-report.com, html-load.com, content-load.com
Which sounds like important domains But it’s their domains, and they use these to serve ads However, blocking it will trigger their script to send you to the error-report website, blaming your ad blocker for “breaking” the website because it could not load “important” scripts from those domains and asking you to disable it to “fix” it
When in reality, the webpage actually works fine 100%, all content is loaded properly, but then their anti ad block kicks in, deletes all CSS, throws an error and tells you to disable your ad blocker.
You will need a browser extension based ad blocker to diffuse their script.
